Warm, sunny days are here again! That can only mean one thing – time to dust off the clubs and play a round of golf for a great cause! ISAHU is pleased to announce that the annual Carol Cutter Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Friday, June 19th, 2015. Once again, this event will take place at Foxcliff Golf Course, near Martinsville. Tee time is 11 AM and lunch will be included. Click here for complete details.
As a reminder, there are several reasons we hold this event each year. First, and foremost, it is a chance to get together to remember and honor a great lady who did so much for our profession and organization! We all have wonderful memories of those precious “Carol” moments, and this is always an opportunity to share those memories and allow her to make us smile once again.
Beyond that, the purpose of this outing is to raise money both for Carol’s beloved church and for ISAHU’s Capital Conference scholarship funding. Each year ISAHU provides funds for a first time attendee to the NAHU Capital Conference in Washington, DC. Depending on the success of the event, more than one scholarship may be awarded – this year we were happy to offer assistance to two of our members who met the criteria! Carol had a tremendous passion for all things legislative, particularly Capital Conference; for our association, there is no finer way to honor her than through this golf outing.
As always, we need players and sponsors, so please take a moment to complete the registration form as soon as possible. While you’re at it, be sure to invite anyone else you know who might enjoy a great day on the golf course! We look forward to seeing you June 19th!
