Michiana Health Information Network (“MHIN”) is a community health information exchange dedicated to providing secure, single source access to patient clinical information.


We improve health care and reduce costs by connecting the healthcare community with a clinical data repository and extended interoperability services.

Tony Cochrane, Director of Business Development, will describe strategies in which MHIN may assist Brokers and Administrators of self-funded employer groups secure deeper-insights into their managed populations.

· Describe the role of a community HIE

· Review MHIN and the healthcare facilities that share data into its repository  

· Describe MHIN’s traditional HIE services that help facilities manage care and costs 

· Introduce strategies to advance population health efforts with managed employer groups
