For the past 29 years, Mike has dedicated his career to the insurance industry, its agents and clients. In 1989, Mike founded and ran his own small benefits planning agency. Then, in 1996, Mike founded the employee benefits practice at Michigan-based Comerica Insurance Services. In 2014, Mike purchased the employee benefits practice from Comerica and opened Comprehensive Benefits, Inc. His areas of practice are small group benefits, mid-size group benefits, worksite voluntary benefits and small and mid-size self-funded plans.

Mike has been a very active member of NAHU since 1993 and has received NAHU’s Distinguished Service Award and Legislative Achievement Award and annually receives the Triple Crown award since its inception in 2004. Mike became a lifetime and qualifying member of Leading Producers Round Table (LPRT) in 2009 and has been a member of the Soaring Eagle Club for the past three years.

Prior to being elected to NAHU’s Executive Committee, Mike served as the Region III vice president from 2010 through 2013. Before these roles, he held numerous leadership positions in Michigan, including president of Michigan AHU, president of Metro Detroit AHU and legislative chairperson for both Metro Detroit and Michigan AHU. He also had the pleasure of serving as Region III HUPAC chairperson.

Carolyn Beck

Carolyn has over 24 years’ experience in health insurance and health plan administration.  She began her career as Benefit Coordinator at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Evansville, IN in 1992 and held that title until 2002.  In 2002, Carolyn joined SIHO Insurance Services as Account Manager and was promoted to Director of Evansville Operations in 2006.  Carolyn has held her Accident & Health Insurance license since 1992, working with large group self-funded plans.

Carolyn serves on the National, State, and local boards for the National Association of Health Underwriters and has been an active member of her professional association since 2002.

Joshua Fredell
PharmD.

Joshua Fredell is Sr. Director of Specialty Product Development at CVS Health.  During his 14 years with the organization, Joshua has focused on the ideation, commercialization and ongoing management of clinical products and services.  These products have ranged from those designed to manage unnecessary pharmacy spend to those focused on improving overall healthcare through adherence and closing gaps in care.  Currently, Joshua and his team are focused on evolving formulary and cost management strategies within both the pharmacy and medical benefits.  Previous to CVS Health, Joshua served as a clinical pharmacist with UPMC Health Plan.  He earned is PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.

Denny Wright

Denny Wright has been in the employee benefit business for 32 years and is recognized by many of his peers as a leading expert in self-funded health care plans. Denny is a graduate of Indiana University, a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), and a Certified Self-Funded Professional (CSFP).

Over the course of his career he has founded two different third party administrators and built them into successful organizations. Denny is currently employed as Vice-President at Employee Plans, LLC, a subsidiary of ONI Risk Partners and a leading third party administrator of self-funded employee benefit plans in the Midwest. Effective July 1, 2017, Denny will also start serving his second term as President of the Indiana State Association of Health of Health Underwriters.

Don Griffey
President, Hailey Campbell Benefits, Inc.

Currently the president of Hailey Campbell Benefits, Inc, Mr. Griffey also serves as Past President of the Greater Northern Indiana Chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters as well as the Indiana State Association of Health Underwriters President Elect.

Over the past seven years, much of Mr. Griffey’s time has been spent working on health care reform.  With the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Mr. Griffey has been continually educating clients, Certified Public Accountants, and Investment Advisors on the components and impact of Healthcare Reform.

Mr. Griffey obtained his life and health license in 2004 after having served as Director of Purchasing for Patriot Homes in Elkhart Indiana for 24 years.  Don and his wife Pat reside in Elkhart, have five children, nine grandchildren and are active members of Faith United Methodist church in Goshen, Indiana.
