With 25+ years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Rob specializes in the use of life insurance for business and estate planning needs. As Founder and President of Integrated Insurance Consulting LLC, Rob partners with advisors to help them serve their client protection needs. Rob also serves as a Regional VP for One Resource Group.
Rob resides in Orland Park, Illinois with his wife Rita and daughter Cassandra. He currently serves as a board member and active fund raiser for Park Lawn, an organization dealing with special needs children and adults. He enjoys music, travel and being a dad.
Andrew Bard is a senior health care executive with U.S. and international success in operations and business development, first dollar insurance and reinsurance. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, General Manager for HCC. Andrew began his career in the insurance industry in 2001 with State Farm, where he focused on Life and Health sales. In 2003 he transitioned his focus to international insurance and Short Term Medical plans, with MultiNational Underwriters, LLC. In 2008 MultiNational Underwriters was acquired by HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. where he was named Vice President of ales and served as that until 2015 when he was named SVP, General Manager. In his capacity as Senior Vice President, Andrew offers his extensive knowledge of travel medical, international employer group, expatriate medical insurance, and short term medical insurance.
Erik Brenner has been an advisor since 1993 and is President and Founder of Hilltop Wealth Solutions an independent Registered Investment Advisory Firm located in Northern Indiana. He is a Certified Financial Planner and a National Social Security Advisor along with being a member of the Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor program. Erik works with clients and businesses throughout the country. Erik is a Retirement Income Strategy Expert and is passionate about helping clients coordinate all of their income streams prior to and during their retirement years. Erik has worked with hundreds of clients on coordinating and managing a successful retirement.
Roger D. Garrett
Roger D. Garrett will have been in the health and life insurance business in Evansville, IN for 41 years this year. He is president of Insurance & Business Planning, Inc. which was established in 1981. Roger holds the professional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Senior Specialist CSS), and Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). He also has NAHU’s Medicare Certification. Roger is a past president of the Evansville, IN Estate and Financial Planning Council, the Southwestern IN Assoc. of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Evansville Chapter of CLUs and ChFCs, and the Evansville General Agents and Managers Association. Roger has been a 15+ yr. board member of the Southwestern IN Assoc. of Health Underwriters, and is currently serving his third term as a member of the NAHU Medicare Advisory Working Group.
Michael W. Jones

1SG (ret) Michael W. Jones was born on 8 December 1971 in Louisville, KY. In 1989, he enlisted into the Army as an Armor Crewman and attended one station unit training at Fort Knox, KY in October of 1990.
The majority of his career was spent as a Special Agent, Criminal Investigator, conducting felony investigations where there was an Army interest. From 1993 until retirement in 2011, Michael led Soldiers in peace and in combat, serving in every leadership role from Team Leader to First Sergeant. Additionally, Michael served and led the Protective Services Battalion, which is the Department of Defense executive protection unit, similar to the well-known Secret Service. Michael personally protected three Secretaries of Defense, as well as many other DoD leaders both here and abroad.
Michael has served in 16 separate countries to include the combat zones in Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan. His most prestigious awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense Identification Badge.
In June 2011, Michael was hired as a SME for Humana’s veteran initiatives. In this capacity, he was a regional executive representing 22 states, supporting the company’s efforts to deliver education and products, designed to help veterans achieve their best health. Michael is currently the Broker Relations Manager for Humana, representing the great state of Indiana.
He is married to Laura and has two children – Shea and Peyton and resides in Lawrenceburg, IN.
Jason’s career in the insurance industry began in 1997 when he became a licensed captive agent selling Long Term Care, and other senior life and health products. From June 1997 to February 2011, Mr. McClellan served in multiple roles for a National FMO and Captive Agency, including Vice President.
To date, Jason has worked with and trained thousands of Independent insurance agents across the country.
Since February 2011, Jason McClellan has served as President and CEO for Insurance Advisors Direct, a Full-Service National Marketing Organization (FMO) specializing in senior market health and life products, including:
Group Retiree Medical, Life, Health, Long-Term Care, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, PDP, Annuities, Cancer, and Final Expense.
Mr. McClellan has additional expertise in: Public Speaking, Agent Training, Education, Sales Tools, Marketing Services and Support, Lead Generation Programs, Administrative Services, and Technology.
In 2012 Mr. Jason McClellan received National recognition and was awarded the “Industry Elite – Best of the Best” award from National Underwriter Life and Health. In 2014 he again received National Recognition from LifeHealthPRO magazine as one of the “24 most creative people in insurance”.
Ruste Pontenberg is the Vice President and Sales Manager for The HSA Authority located in Fort Wayne, Indiana; He has 30 years of consumer and small business banking experience. Ruste is a graduate of Ball State University and Pacific Coast Banking School. He also holds Life, Health, Property, and Casualty licenses in the State of Indiana. As a licensed insurance agent, he understands the challenges faced by today’s transitional healthcare environment.
Ruste’s sales, management, and finance experience allow him to lead a successful team of experts at The HSA Authority. They partner with insurance brokers and employers to provide the highest quality HSA education and support in the industry. The HSA Authority has been providing HSA solutions since 2004 and through its dedication to education and customer service has grown to become the 15th largest administrator in the county with over 2,000 employer groups and accounts in all 50 states.
NAHU efforts are supported through Ruste’s active membership in the Northeast Indiana and Indianapolis Association of Health Underwriters chapters. He is a current board member for the American Banker Association’s HSA Council. He also supports the health insurance industry by providing HSA continuing education classes on a regular basis.

Tim is a graduate of The Ohio State University and has spent his entire career in the insurance business. Tim has worked on all sides of the business starting in health claims administration, and then moved on as a carrier rep, independent agent and now on the wholesale side. He came to Cornerstone with over 21 years’ experience in the health insurance industry. He loves working with brokers using his experience to train and help them become successful in this business. A majority of his career has been spent on the Individual and Medicare side of the business. In 2010, he received his MBA in Health Services and taught as an Adjunct instructor for four years at DeVry University.
Tim enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is an avid Ohio State Buckeye and enjoys watching all sports, running, boating, fishing, hunting and all other outdoor activities.

Patricia Griffey is Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and is the owner and operator of Page 1 Medicare located in Elkhart Indiana.
She has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, currently participating on the Chamber’s Healthcare Policy Committee, and has served multiple years on the Agent Advisory Council for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Indianapolis.
Pat is a Lifetime and Qualifying member of the NAHU Leading Producers Roundtable and has been recognized multiple times for her industry service and leadership. She considers herself most blessed to have been named Honorary Insurance Commissioner by the State of Indiana Department of Insurance in 2009.
Mrs. Griffey resides in Elkhart Indiana with her husband Don, who is also an active insurance professional and NAHU member. They enjoy spending quality time with their five children and nine grandchildren.
