Indiana (July 1, 2015) — Indiana State Association of Health Underwriters (ISAHU) recently received the Landmark Award at the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) 85th Annual Convention and Exhibition in New Orleans, LA.
ISAHU Chapter was recognized for this award for outstanding achievements in service to their members, the industry and the public.
“The leadership of NAHU members has a far-reaching impact on providing for the healthcare needs of individuals, families and business in their communities. We are grateful for ISAHU’s hard work and recognize them for their efforts with this well-deserved award,” said NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein.
“Indiana State Association of Health Underwriters exemplifies the dedication to providing the best opportunities for our members,” said David Berman, incoming president of Indiana State Chapter. “This year, our chapter continues to raise money for member scholarships to attend Capitol Conference through the Annual Carol Cutter Memorial Golf Outing, developed a website to allow easy access to state and local chapter news as part of our communications efforts and hosted our first Medicare Summit in Indianapolis to further our members’ educational efforts. These projects and many others have set a standard of excellence in the health insurance industry that we are proud to represent.”
