In June NAHU held their 2020 annual national Awards Ceremony recognizing state and local chapters that excelled during the past year. ISAHU and our local chapters achieved incredible results and outcompeted other state chapters greatly exceeding our size and number of members.
For the fourteenth consecutive year ISAHU was awarded the Landmark Award for service to our members and the insurance industry. In the history of NAHU, no other state chapter has won this award for fourteen consecutive years. The Landmark Award is considered the highest award possible for a state chapter.
ISAHU was also awarded The Blue-Ribbon award for having all seven of our local chapters certified. For the first time ISAHU was awarded the Best Website award for state chapters. The IndyAHU chapter also received an award for the best local chapter website. Both the ISAHU and IndyAHU chapter’s websites are managed by SuperPixel. SuperPixel and ISAHU extended their contract on July 1st for an additional two years.
Our local chapters were also recognized as being some of the top chapters in the country. The South Central Indiana AHU was recognized as the only local chapter in the country for achieving Platinum certification, Platinum certification is the highest possible certification level for a local chapter. SCIAHU has achieved Platinum certification for five consecutive years, an amazing accomplishment. SCIAHU was also awarded Pacesetter for the eighth time in the past fifteen years as one of the top overall performing chapters in the country. Southwestern Indiana AHU was also awarded Pacesetter. A special shout out to Carolyn Beck ISAHU Awards Chair who is retiring as Awards Chair after serving for five years in that capacity. Carolyn’s record as ISAHU’s awards chair is second to none in all NAHU.
ISAHU and all our seven local chapter members are lucky to be part of one of the top state chapters in all NAHU as well as having the most recognized and award-winning local chapters. Be sure to brag to anybody you associate with that are not members that they are missing out on being part of their industry’s top professional association and their contributions as a new member would be welcomed.
