ISAHU reschedules INsure Expo to August 18-19, 2020

The INsure Health and Benefits Expo has been rescheduled to August 18-19, 2020. The news comes after a directive from Ind. Gov. Eric Holcomb canceling all events in excess of even a dozen people.

“This is our first year for INSure, and like any other ISAHU event, we want to make sure it’s the best it can be. Amid concerns over COVID-19 and the spread of infection, we were already heavily considering a delay before the Governor’s order,” said Jennifer Mitchen, incoming ISAHU President.

Originally scheduled for April 22-23 at the Indianapolis Wyndham West, the Expo includes 3 hours of Ethics CE, 8 hours of general CE credits, and optional NAHU Certification courses. The Expo also included sessions from industry-leading Medicare and Group Benefits professionals. The new August 18-19, 2020 dates will offer the same number of CE hours made available.

All payments already made will be honored for the new August dates.

Additional guidance is below.

FAQs about the INsure Expo postponement

Is the NAHU Certification moving, too?

Hopefully. We are working with NAHU to confirm.  If you have already registered for either of the NAHU certifications, you should have already been reimbursed directly from NAHU.  If we are able to reschedule, you will need to register again. Please stay tuned for more information!

Will my ticket still be valid later this year?

If you’ve already paid, ISAHU will honor your ticket and registration for the new dates this August. There’s nothing you need to do except update your calendar.

Are all of the same speakers confirmed?

So far all of the classes are officially CE approved and most speakers are being confirmed for the new dates.

Is the event location or time changing?

We’ll still be at the Indianapolis Wyndham West. Only the dates are changing. The time will be the same, starting at 8 am both days.

What about hotel rooms?

If you have a room reservation, your room will be transferred to the night of Aug 18th.  If you need to cancel, please contact the Wyndham directly.

Is there a plan to stream the event online?

No. To keep ticket prices affordable and remain in compliance with CE filings that have been set as in-person classes, streaming is not currently an option.

I registered as a sponsor.  What do I need to do?

We are hopeful that all of our confirmed sponsors will still be able to participate in the event.  If these dates do not work for your organization, please contact Jeff Goodwin, jgoodwin@imaweb.com.  Otherwise, please change the dates on your calendar!  We will be reaching out as it gets closer with final details.

I have additional questions, who can I contact?

Email Jeff Goodwin, jgoodwin@imaweb.com with questions about sponsorships. Email Jennifer Mitchen, jmitchen@maaassociates.com with questions about individual registration or other concerns.
