National, Regional, State and Local Board positions change July 1st each year. Thus, this will serve as the final President’s message that I will author. Before I move into the role as ISAHU Immediate Past President I would like to thank each board member at the State and Local Chapters for your service to the association over the past year. June of last year during the strategic planning meeting I laid out an aggressive list of goals and objectives for the upcoming year. Most of the goals and objectives have be reached. These goals and objectives could not have been reached alone. Thanks to the efforts of those on the ISAHU BOD and the Local Chapter President’s and their boards I will hand off this association in better shape in which I received it.
During the NAHU Annual Convention in late June ISAHU will rightly be well recognized with numerous awards for its effort in the past year. Late July at the ISAHU State Convention the Local Chapters will also receive many awards for their efforts over the past year. I would like to congratulate all of those award winners in advance. It has been my great privilege to serve as the ISAHU President over the past 12 months. Today is a day that we should not dwell on the past but to look forward with great anticipation of the future. I can say with all certainty that ISAHU best days and its greatest accomplish do not lie in its past, but in its future.
Go Forth and Conquer
ISAHU President 2018-2019
