Evansville – National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) President, Mike Embry will speak to Indiana State Association of Health Underwriters (ISAHU) members in October.
“Mike is in a lot of demand right now, and we’re thrilled he’s coming to the state. His work in Washington this year is worth everyone’s time,” said ISAUH President, Denny Wright.
On October 12 Mr. Embry travels to Evansville for Southwest Indiana AHU’s monthly meeting. The meeting will be held at St. Mary’s Manor Annex at 3700 Washington Ave., Evansville. SWIAHU is also celebrating Health Insurance Awareness Week during Mr. Embry’s visit. Registration is at-the-door at starts at 11:30. SWIAHU President Tom Gant reminds everyone, “Members are of course encouraged to attend and non-members are always welcome. Lunch will be provided, too.”
Mr. Embry has been a very active member of NAHU and has received NAHU’s Distinguished Service Award and Legislative Achievement Award and annually receives the Triple Crown award since its inception in 2004. He became a lifetime and qualifying member of Leading Producers Round Table (LPRT) in 2009 and has been a member of the Soaring Eagle Club for the past three years.
The Indiana State Association of Health Underwriters represents brokers, agents, and health and life insurance professionals across Indiana plus Indiana’s seven local chapters. ISAHU supports its members’ health and financial security needs through charity events, networking, conferences and summits, and online learning. ISAHU also plays an active role in shepherding legislation in the Indiana House and Senate as well as maintaining close working relationships with Indiana’s Congressional and Senate delegation.
