You survived Award season! You survived the filing, scanning, copying, organizing and meeting the deadline! Way to go…you did it!
As you know, we are now in a new Award year. This is the time to reach out to your board and provide the chairs with their areas for Awards criteria. Copy the Pacesetter Award Spreadsheet which is broken out by 8 criteria. Incorporate each chair’s help to make the Award role easier. Ask each chair to review the criteria for Pacesetter and keep track of the documentation needed throughout the year. Then as the deadline approaches next year ask them to provide you with their documentation they gathered throughout the year. If we all work together it will make filing for Awards much easier.
As your ISAHU Award Chair, I want to send a BIG THANK YOU for all that each of you do throughout the year to promote Awards. The Awards criteria provided by NAHU is a great roadmap to a successful chapter and provides membership with the knowledge that your chapter does great things on behalf of its membership.
I hope to see you walking across that stage at the annual convention in San Diego. Until then…happy organizing!
