We were very fortunate to have the lovely and knowledgeable Pat Griffey (2019 NAHU President) present at our June 14thmember meeting in Scottsburg. She included in her topics the need to understand the NAHU Anti-Trust Statement and spoke about NAHU’S Education Foundation and Operation Engage all of which are important offerings to our membership. And don’t forget those Podcasts!
We had 3 members of our local attend the National Convention in Kansas City with our own Andrea Bogard coming home with one of the 4 Distinguished Service Awards given out at the Gordon Memorial Dinner. What a surprise for her and a well-deserved honor.
Our Annual Strategic Planning Meeting was also held In early June and was an awesome time of planning for our future for our Chapter. Many great ideas and plans were discussed in all areas of involvement.
