Northeast Indiana Association of Health Underwriters (NEIAHU) – Our chapter received the “Gold Certification” from NAHU. Congratulations Team! And a special thank you to Rita Musser, Awards Chair extraordinaire!
Capital Conference is this month! We have three representatives from our Chapter ready to take the Hill! Matt Hatfield, Legislative Chair, Kathy Goffer, president elect, and Justin Finton, Carol Cutter Scholarship winner. This is a wonderful opportunity for these members to experience this awesome event and to represent our members, clients and industry.
Chapter has been very busy planning for the remainder of the year. ISAHU members and guests are always welcome! Our meeting location has changed to Hotel Fort Wayne which has improved networking and flow of the programs. Monthly Meetings held on the 3rd Monday of the month during the lunch hour.
However, February meeting will begin an hour later so our members may participate in a live webinar to hear more about the new HIP 2.0 implementation. The live webinar presented by the FSSA Leadership Team from the auditorium of the Indiana Government Center South, will include a program overview and a question and answer session. As insurance professionals,
it is very important to be knowledgeable about the coverage available to our clients as well as what impact this new program could have on the small group and individual markets. I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this in the coming months.
Other activities our chapter is focused on this quarter: our membership committee is planning its first recruiting blitz in March – Go team! And Planning is underway for our New & Improved Super CE Day scheduled for April 30th. Mark your calendars and watch for more details!
